Come and talk to us. We have a particular focus that might be just what you are looking for.

We have invested much time and thought into looking for products that are made by super people and kind companies. We love natural materials like silk, raffia, linen, wood, marble, brass or copper. We are just so motivated by seeing the small guys flourish and by being able to showcase their beautiful handiwork. We delight in beauty, natural materials and scents as well as quality. We have also loved working on bespoke products that deliver unique results.

Here is an example, we commissioned an off-white linen pouch edged with black piping with a client’s logo in gold on a gleaming black custom printed label and finished off with a fine inner lining. It looked like it belonged on a yacht off St Tropez. Linen is such a pleasure to touch, but the pouch became even more special to recipients when they heard it was expertly sewed by a co-operative that has a team of women who’ve experienced violence or who are human trafficking survivors. The latter group are so grateful for work because they don’t have to put out their CV, they get to work at home, safely.
Inside the pouch was a gift of hand cream. The story behind the cream is a wonderful one set jointly in South Africa and Namibia. The company has its home in the Drakensberg but its story hails back to the owner’s mum’s childhood in Namibia where she interacted with the majestic Himba women. These women have remarkably silky skin enabled partially by Namibian myrrh which they harvest by hand in the desert. This fragrant ingredient is what was in the hand cream in an entirely natural formulation.
Come and be captivated...
You see, in our own way, we get to facilitate this wonderfully positive cycle that suppliers, clients and recipients get to play a part in. Clients get the opportunity to choose from gifting that is kind to humans and the environment, that is almost always South African-made from smaller companies and that is truly lovely in design and quality. Recipients get to experience options that they may not even know exist. We humans are creatures of habit, but a good experience can change our mind and we hope that it will do just that. Lastly our suppliers get brand exposure and business. So, everyone gets to participate in a feel-good, do-good South African story that builds up local business, celebrates artisans, is kind to the earth and people and which strengthens our economy and communities.
It is a story that will leave a legacy.
